Slow learner...

We've been waiting (impatiently) for the adoption agency in Florida to open up to Canadians, so that we can move ahead with our application.  We were initially told the beginning of August, and I called them just the other day (after a few unanswered emails) to see what was going on.  The person I was to contact there was on holidays, and won't be back till Tuesday, and the lady I talked with didn't seem to know whether they were open to Canadians again.  It seems that nothing about adoption is easy and goes quickly.  I sometimes get very frustrated with the whole process and just want to call it quits and then God reminds me again that things don't happen in my time, but His time.  I'm a slow learner.  You think if I learned quicker the whole process would go faster???  Wishful thinking...
